OpenLinePlanner

Our web bases solution for data driven route and station planning. As it is based on public data, it can be deployed fast and without the need for a complex data integration. Through its modular design it can be adopted to a wide range of use cases.

All night-trains of europe aggregated and well presented in one place. It features an interactive map and trip search. In its final state, the application will allow customers to book any night-train in europe. The project is expected to be released in early 2024.

Based on the automatic timetable integration of the Night-trains project, the Railplanner provides an up-to-date overview of all offered train connections in Europe. The project therefore consists of the traintime database and the passenger information in the railplanner apps.

We are David and Max, the founders of Xatellite Mobility. Driven by the idea that rail travel does not have to be complicated, and frustrated with the status quo, we came together in early 2023 to improve the way people find and book train tickets. With backgrounds in railway technologies and software engineering, we are currently working to bring the world of European night trains to a wider audience by making information easily accessible and the booking experience as convenient as possible.
